Life Drawing Session 245 Sapphic Love in Art - Pride Special (duo female) - Sunday, June 11, 2023, 2pm

Join us for a special female+female Pride Month session. While walking around the museums of Paris, you can find numerous paintings depicting women, intertwined in bed, nude. 19th century male painters often gave these works titles like “Les Deux Amies” (The Two Friends). In this workshop, two Parisian fine art models Cyrielle and Fanny will honour the characters of those paintings, the women who posed for them, and all the lovers who could not always call themselves such! We will take inspiration from the works of artists such as Louise Abbéma, Toulouse Lautrec, Jean-Baptiste Courbet and others. Join us drawing the intimacy and tenderness between women in love. The session is semi-nude / nude and as always, we will end the evening with a show-and-tell and a drink upstairs.
