Life Drawing Session 378 LES HALLES - The Female Gaze (LADIES ONLY) - Saturday, January 18, 2025, 5pm

Join us for the Female Gaze Workshop, where you'll draw from life while exploring the creative process of figure drawing through the unique perspectives of female artists. Engage in open conversations with our models about their craft and the role of body image in their work as art models. In each session, an experienced female model will pose and share insights from her journey, offering a thoughtful look at how she connects with her body in her artistic practice. The second part of the session is experimental, inviting artists to model for the group in a safe and supportive environment. After the session, we'll gather for a drink to exchange our experiences. Join us for a soulful workshop on womanhood, the intricacies of being a woman artist, and how our bodies evolve with age. This workshop is specifically designed for female artists. Please bring your favorite drawing materials.

Leading the workshop is Deni, an actress, multidisciplinary artist, and experienced life model herself. She's excited to share her perspective on modeling and artistic experiences, creating an environment where both seeing and being seen are celebrated.

This session is run in English only. All media are allowed, including pastels, ink, watercolor, or paint. No easels provided. While we recommend bringing your own art supplies, a basic drawing materials set (A4 paper, soft graphite pencil, charcoal stick, and an eraser) is available for purchase at €5. Please notify us in advance if you'd like to purchase the set, and we'll have it ready for you at the session.
